Where do you provide services?
I provide services in Hong Kong, California, and in US states that do not require state licensure to offer Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). If you're unsure whether services are available in your area, feel free to complete the inquiry form here and I’ll be happy to help!
Do you accept insurance? (US Clients)
I may be in network with your insurance. You can submit an inquiry form here, and I’ll reach out to discuss the options for in-network nutrition services. I can also provide superbills for out-of network reimbursement.
Can I pay in a currency other than USD?
Yes! Invoices are issued in USD by default, but I’m happy to adjust the currency to HKD or another preferred currency upon request. Just let me know what works best for you.
What if I’m experiencing financial barriers?
I understand that financial constraints can be a significant concern and offer a limited number of sliding scale slots. If you're interested in exploring this option, please email hello@eatbeyondlabels.com to request more information.
Can you provide Chinese language services?
Whether your English level is “fluent” or “I go to school by bus,” I’m here to help. Please note that while many topics may be discussed in Cantonese, I am not fluent and cannot guarantee full accuracy in Cantonese communication.
Can you help me lose weight?
Research shows weight is not a reliable indicator of health. My approach emphasizes sustainable and evidence-based practices that promote long-term health and well-being, regardless of weight changes.
How many sessions should I expect?
The number of sessions varies based on your unique goals and needs. For foundational nutrition information and guidance, 1-3 sessions may suffice. If you're interested in exploring your relationship with food or practices like intuitive eating, a longer-term approach is often beneficial. We will work together to tailor a plan that aligns with your needs and pace.
What if I’m not making progress or meeting goals?
Progress isn't always linear. If you're facing challenges, we'll revisit your goals to ensure they're aligned with your current needs and circumstances.
