Where do you provide services?
I’m a fully credentialed Registered Dietitian in the United States and Hong Kong. I provide services in Hong Kong, California, and in US states that do not require state licensure to offer Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). These include: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

If you're unsure whether services are available in your area, feel free to complete the inquiry form here and I’ll be happy to help!
Can I pay in a currency other than USD?
Yes! Invoices are issued in USD by default, but I’m happy to adjust the currency to HKD or another preferred currency upon request. Just let me know what works best for you.
What if I’m experiencing financial barriers?
I understand that financial constraints can be a significant concern and offer a limited number of sliding scale slots. If you're interested in exploring this option, please email hello@eatbeyondlabels.com to request more information.
Can you provide Chinese Language services?
Whether your English level is “fluent” or “I go to school by bus,” I’m here to help. Please note that while many topics may be discussed in Cantonese, I am not fluent and cannot guarantee full accuracy in Cantonese communication.
Can you help me lose weight?
I focus on supporting your overall well-being rather than pursuing weight loss as a primary goal. Research indicates that intentional weight loss efforts often lead to temporary results and can contribute to harmful cycles of weight regain and disordered eating behaviors. I emphasize sustainable and evidence-based practices that promote long-term health and well-being, regardless of weight changes.
How many sessions should I expect?
The number of sessions varies based on your unique goals and needs. For foundational nutrition information and guidance, 1-3 sessions may suffice. If you're interested in exploring your relationship with food more deeply and incorporating practices like intuitive eating, a longer-term approach is often beneficial to lay the groundwork for meaningful progress and lasting change. We will work together to tailor a plan that aligns with your individual needs and pace.
What if I’m not making progress or meeting goals?
Progress isn't always linear. If you're facing challenges, we'll revisit your goals to ensure they're aligned with your current needs and circumstances. I place value on sustainable well-being over rigid goals.
